There are many different things that are called beliefs. Sometimes it becomes a belief, but at some point it is called an unfounded blind faith or superstition, so belief appears in various forms. We often distinguish between the faithful and the blind faith, but can it be said that the noble beliefs are hard to come by and the mind that leans on superstition is just light? This intangible mind, which was only grasped by feeling, becomes hard and flexible again as needed. The exhibition ⟪Fingers crossed⟫ imagines the creation of the mind of faith hidden behind a name. It sees faith as an unfinished mind, supported by endless doubts and persuasion before being named. There is no nobility here, no upright wick. What the three artists in the exhibition show is an incomplete movement that silently continues the next one while moving around.
