Exhibition Information
Through the evolution of Homo sapiens and the "coexistence" with other species of life, we are more interested in ourselves than ever in the recent coronavirus on a global scale. It is also said that we, who started walking on the grasslands 7 million years ago, have now become almighty enough to be compared to God. But the corona pandemic has confirmed that we humans are still weak in front of Mother Nature. This special exhibition offers a glimpse of the long journey of human evolution of 7 million years. From an evolutionary perspective, the meaning of human existence and the relationship with various species that have been formed in the evolutionary process have been revealed through 700 exhibits and videos, including fossil and archaeological materials. In the face of the global corona pandemic, the current Homo sapiens needs more thought and reflection on the future than ever before. I hope this exhibition will serve as such an opportunity.
