Gana Art is delighted to introduce Pressing Shadows,a solo exhibition by Elizabeth Schwaiger. After an MFA from the Glasgow School of Art in Scotland, Schwaiger, the Brooklyn-based artist has been showcased in both solo and group exhibitions at various institutions, including Nicola Vassell Gallery (New York), Jane Lombard Gallery (New York), The National Portrait Gallery (London) and a residency at the Rauschenberg Foundation. In collaboration with Gana Art and curator Matt Black, this marks Schwaiger’s inaugural solo exhibition in Asia, presenting recent paintings depicting depeopled spaces, full of the remnants of countless cultures.
