			Everyday Mooonday gallery is proud to present What a Day! a group exhibition curated by the Dutch-born and Seoul-based artist Raymond Lemstra, featuring works by Delphine Hennelly, Ryan Travis Christian, Penny Davenport and Ryan Browning.

Regardless of a wide range of different materials and techniques, a common denominator for the artists featured in What a Day! is the prominent role the figure plays in their work, even when it is not a direct part of the actual composition.

In Hennelly’s paintings, the female form is often elegantly stylized, sometimes to almost complete unrecognizability, through the employment of patterns, repetition, and atypical color palettes. Characters without a distinct identity wander through landscapes seemingly unconcerned with history and/or time. While deeply exploring figuration and brushwork, she is predominantly interested in composition, rather than conveying a narrative.
