Exhibition Information

			Gana Art is pleased to present an exhibition with the theme of 《LINE》 with six artists, Kim kulim, Nam Tchunmo, Ro Eunnim, Oh Sufan, Bae Lee, and Yeesookyung who represent Korean contemporary art. Through this exhibition, we would like to find the Lines expressed in the work through the paintings and sculptures of six artists and explore its various meanings. They express the meaning of the line in different media. Oh Sufan (b.1946-), Nam Tchunmo (b1961-), and Ro Eunnim (b.1946-) study the fundamental meaning of painting through lines. As a result, they opened a field of original paintings that crossed the boundaries between the East and the West. Also, Bae Lee (b.1956-) study of identity and the continuous inquiry spirit toward the materiality of media can be found, and in the paintings of Kim kulim (b.1936-), various experiments can be found to escape the existing values and customs. Finally, the curve of the sculpture of Yeesookyung(b.1963-), which is created by attaching fragments of ceramics, contains the artist’s desire for regeneration and healing.
