			Gallery Umm is hosting a new artist's 'Ulda 2' on June 1 to celebrate its second anniversary. Gallery Um, which opened in June 2017 with the invitation of 20 middle-aged artists working in Daegu, North Gyeongsang and Jeolla provinces, hosted an invitation to Jang Doo-il, a professor of art at Yeungnam University, to commemorate the first anniversary of its opening last year. In this two weeks, we planned an exhibition of artists from Daegu and Gyeongbuk-based art colleges to discover new artists. 
The artists participating in the exhibition are 13 people who majored in Western painting at Keimyung University, Daegu Catholic University, Daegu University, and Gyeongsang National University. They present flat and non-planning works and installation works using various objects. This exhibition will show the flow and diversity of art by young artists who are currently active.

As CEO of Gallery Um Kim Yoon-hee said at the opening in 2017, "We plan to operate various programs throughout the cultural arts, including the role of a platform in which various modern arts interact, high-quality arts education, and the discovery of up-and-coming artists," the museum has been striving to develop Yeongcheon's culture through various planning exhibitions, residency and education programs. We are looking for ways to share contemporary art with local people in Yeongcheon City, enjoy culture, and promote cultural art in areas that may be alienated from metropolitan areas.
Gallery Um, which has already been passed through by more than 60 artists, has become an independent cultural and artistic space. The gallery will continue to be a place where cultural and artistic arts can be shrunk, so that visitors and writers can communicate with each other more easily as art, and help Yeongcheon City become a cultural city.
